With Christmas and 2017 looming right around the corner, I think it's time to reflect on what has been a very eventful year for North Gwent Archers! From the success of our beginner's courses, to the excellence of our competitive archers throughout the year!
Here is a summary of how our club's members have performed in various tournaments this year!
1. WELSH AND OPEN INDOOR CHAMPIONSHIPS

2. WELSH FIELD MASTERS TOURNAMENT

3. UKIFAC

As you can see our club has a lot of talented archers in its ranks and this is something that we are aiming to grow even further in 2017 by encouraging our members to attend at least 1 WFAA shoot in the forthcoming year! Congratulations to Ieuan for achieving his Senior Bow Master title, and to Shane for reaching Bow Master status! Also to Ieuan for breaking several records this year for a variety of rounds. Well done to Robert for being selected to train with the GNAS & WAA County Squad! The first WFAA shoot of 2017 will be in RAF St. Athans and it will be the Welsh & Indoor Championships. The date of this shoot is the 29th of January, and we encourage anyone who is interested to book their space ASAP to avoid disappointment!
The final shoot of the year will be on the 14th of December and then on the 21st of December, we will having a Christmas meal at the Nags Head in Tredegar! For more information about this, speak to Adrian at the next club session! The club's first session back in 2017 will be on the 11th of January and we look forward to seeing you then!
So to top it all off, I'd like to wish everyone and their families a safe and happy Christmas season!
Merry Christmas & A Happy New Year
~North Gwent Archers~
